Receipt Bank: Small changes for big results

Since 2010 Receipt Bank has been revolutionising accounting for small businesses. They were the first software company to automate the collection and data extraction of receipts and invoices.

Today their award winning technology is used globally by over 5,000 accounting and bookkeeping firms and tens of thousands of small businesses who use their tools to help automate their financial processes and strengthen their client relationships.

The Challenge

Receipt Bank had an overly-complex installation of Salesforce and a plethora of integrated 3rd party applications. The business was already an established global player and wanted to continue it’s impressive growth but needed to reinforce their Salesforce processes to allow this.

The Solution

  • Art of Cloud worked closely with Receipt Bank’s internal team to assess the current health of the implementation and recommend changes in process where appropriate to help improve user experience to reduce the amount of day-to-day problems thrown up by the growing team
  • Rolled out a customer retention process to better manage on-boarding and retention efforts across all clients
  • Created a graphic representation of customer health which could be placed on all related customer records
  • Implement FinancialForce Billing Central to improve visibility of contracts, billing and allow the Sales team to up-sell to their customers from within Salesforce without having to switch into a different system

The Results

  • Reduced operational errors, queries and cases by 90%
  • Real-time visibility into the health of a customer based on 6 key metrics increasing upsells and retention
  • The Billing Central solution was fully integrated with all internal systems to provision Receipt Bank features once a sale was made. This provided a 75% Reduction in Sales Admin time.
