Art of Cloud Team Takes on Salesforce Colleagues in Blazing Charity Tournament
The Salesforce teams were out in force this week – as we met up for a closely-fought football tournament to raise £5,000 for charity.
We fielded a plucky Art of Cloud side as part of the event, organised by Salesforce, in aid of the NSPCC.
Our eight-strong team travelled to Milwall FC’s ground, The Den, in South East London on Thursday.
We were joined by a range of companies involved in the Salesforce ecosystem, including consultant partners, recruitment consultancies, with Third Eye Consulting, Slack, Tableau, Natterbox and Steadman Brown all part of the day.
After losing our first two games, we grew in confidence to bag successive wins in the next two games, before missing out in our final fixture.
Inbetween things, we even managed to hang out with ex-Millwall FC, Portsmouth and Republic of Ireland goalkeeper, David Forde.
He’s been busy coaching some of Salesforce teams and is a regular at Salesforce Tower in London.
We might not have lifted any trophies but it was definitely a great result and we’re really proud to have raised some money for a good cause too.
