We’re deep into autumn, the nights are getting longer and we’re approaching our FY half-way point feeling like there’s plenty to celebrate and look forward to.

It’s certainly been a busy, sociable and fun few months for the Art of Cloud team so we’re taking a well-deserved break with a pumpkin spiced latte to jot down some highlights. We sometimes lose track of these great moments when we’re busy getting things done so we’re making an extra effort to make a note and share the wins!

GROWTH TARGETS – TICK

As always, we set ourselves some ambitious growth targets earlier this year and thanks to our amazing teams, we’re on track to deliver (with much more to come!).

WELCOMING NEW FACES, WAVING OFF OLD FRIENDS – TICK

We said a sad farewell to the wonderful Samantha Lawn, as she headed off on an exciting, three-month sabbatical. Sam’s a much-valued member of the team so we were more than happy to help make her travelling dream possible – putting our flexible working principles into action, holding her job open for when she gets home.

We’ve welcomed our new Salesforce Consultant Claire Wallace too – with more exciting appointments to be announced soon. Watch this space!

ANYONE FOR PADEL? TICK

It’s fair to say we LOVE sport and we went all in for the Salesforce Padel Tournament – with our Art of Cloud stars Elliot Baker and David Sucharzewski making it through to a nail-biting final. We helped raise £25,000 for charity too. They’ll be back for the title next year!

FINE DINING AND DIGITAL DIALOGUE TICK

Great company, amazing food and fantastic conversation – all in the historic surroundings of the Honourable Artillery Company made our most recent formal dinner a night to remember.

We partnered with Certinia and the Salesforce Business Services team for an evening of dialogue around digital transformation, service innovation, and the future of business enablement.

MORE AWARDS (BLUSHING) TICK

We’ve been feeling the awards glow recently and it’s been great to catch up with so many friends and faces at some of the ceremonies. The Leeds Digital Festival Awards are always a highlight – so being part of this year’s ten-year anniversary felt extra special! We made the shortlist for Best Place to Work and we’re up for another Employer of the Year at the Yorkshire Business of the Year Awards. We won’t lie, the site visit was a little nerve-wracking but we hope we managed to express ourselves and our values well!

STILL LEARNING – TICK

We’re lucky enough to be part of an amazing global network – an eco-system where we can share connections and knowledge.

We’re grateful to the Salesforce teams, especially and colleagues for being so generous with their time over recent months and to everyone involved with Dreamforce – we’ll be sharing some key takeaways soon.

GIVING BACK – TICK

We continue to show our collective support for UK and regional charities (Carol’s MacMillan hike last month looked great and impressed us all) and we’ve extended our sponsorships to include another local side, Farsley Netball Club. We’re told Liz was a mean GA in her school days so it’s always a pleasure to help out.
