Turning scattered data into useful context
Connect and harmonise data from Salesforce and other systems, then make it available for customer journeys, insight, automation and Agentforce.
Connecting data is only useful if the business can act on it
Data360 is Salesforce’s data platform for connecting structured and unstructured data, harmonising it into consistent models and profiles, applying governance and activating it across Salesforce and other destinations.
Art of Cloud helps organisations define what a unified view actually needs to support. We identify the sources, identities, consent and quality rules behind the use case, then design how trusted data should appear in sales, service, marketing, analytics, automation or Agentforce.
Data 360 is not a magic clean-up button and it does not automatically replace a warehouse or master-data programme. We make those boundaries clear, control consumption and focus the implementation on decisions and actions worth improving.
What you can expect
A use-case-led data platform with clear ownership, governed identities and a practical route from connection to action.
A business case before a data lake.
We start with the customer experience, decision, segment, workflow or AI use case the connected data must support.
Identity rules you can explain.
Matching and reconciliation rules are designed around real identifiers, confidence and exception handling rather than assuming every record can be joined perfectly.
Governance built into activation.
Consent, classification, retention, permissions and usage policies are considered alongside the technical connection.
What can Data360 help you do?
Whilst the exact capability depends on your Salesforce edition and licences. Features include...
- Connecting Salesforce clouds and external data sources
- Using ingestion or supported zero-copy connections
- Mapping data into a consistent, extensible model
- Matching identities and create unified profiles
- Preparing, transform and calculate useful insights
- Creating segments for engagement and analysis
- Triggering Salesforce Flow and other actions from data changes
- Providing trusted context to Agentforce
- Applying policy-based governance and data controls
- Sharing selected data and insights with approved platforms
How we approach Data360
1.
Choose the use case. We define the decision, experience or action the connected data must improve.
2.
Map the data landscape. We identify sources, volumes, identifiers, ownership, quality, consent and system-of-record boundaries.
3.
Build and test. We configure the portal, integrate required services and test usability, access and complete scenarios.
4.
Build and reconcile. We connect sources, transform data, test matching and compare outputs with authoritative systems.
5.
Activate and measure. We surface trusted context into the agreed journeys, workflows, analytics or agents and measure the result.
6.
Operate and optimise. We monitor quality, credit usage, failures, model changes and new activation opportunities.
Still have questions?
Let’s answer them
What is Data 360?
Data 360 is Salesforce’s data platform for connecting, harmonising, governing and activating enterprise data. It can create unified profiles and make trusted context available across Salesforce workflows, analytics and Agentforce.
Does Data 360 replace your data warehouse?
Not necessarily. It can connect to warehouses and lakes, including through supported zero-copy options, and is focused on activation in Salesforce. The right architecture depends on where data is governed, transformed, analysed and retained today.
Does Data 360 move all your data into Salesforce?
No. Some patterns ingest and store data, while supported zero-copy integrations allow Salesforce to work with data in external platforms without duplicating the underlying data in the same way. Availability depends on the source and product configuration.
How is Data 360 priced?
Salesforce describes Data 360 pricing as consumption based. Usage, storage and premium capabilities can affect cost, so volume assumptions and monitoring should be part of the design.
